Cody W. Forrest was born August 14, 1988 in Guymon, OK. Since then he has lived in Arizona, Texas, Canada, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, and again Texas. Cody began playing the French Horn in 4th grade and in the years of growth following began to dabble in composition, however his passion did not come to full fruition until high school, when he discovered it would be his life's work. Currently studying composition at the University of North Texas, Cody plans to graduate in May '10 and continue his education afterward. Composition teachers include: Paul Thomas, Da Jeong Choi, and Cindy McTee.
